IFCI Financial City, a project of IFCI Infrastructure
Development Ltd. (IIDL), will come up near the Bengaluru International
Airport here. Union Minister for Finance Pranab Mukherjee will lay the
foundation stone for the project on Sunday.
Addressing
presspersons here on Friday, IIDL Managing Director P.V. Srinivas said
that the Rs. 1,000-crore project is expected to be completed in three
years and will house over 20 banks and financial institutions. “IIDL, in
association with participating banks and institutions, is developing
first-rate urban infrastructure at the proposed site and expects to
complete the project in three years,” he said.
Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda and Union Minister for Corporate Affairs M. Veerappa Moily will take part in the event.
